I guess this is where I tell you a little about me.  I got into making jewelry about 12 years ago, wow, doing that particular math in my head makes me kind of proud!  I was enamoured of dreamcatchers at the time and decided to try my hand at making some- it kept my hands busy while I tried to keep from smoking.  As my ability grew, my dreamcatchers progressed and I began to add new components to them, specifically, beads into the webbing.

Beads drew me in more and more and creating jewelry naturally evolved.  It was a whole new skill set to develop and have fun with.  Dreamcatchers were set aside and beads became my obsession.  I learned about stones, crystals, vintage, sterling and stumbled upon lampwork.

Lampwork.  Brilliant colors of the sun, cool shimmers of the ocean, flowers blooming, stars floating and things you only see in your dreams captured in glass.  I began haunting artists' sites and buying as I could.  I try to encorporate lampwork as much as I can into my jewelry; when I can stand to give it up that is.  Selling my jewelry is mostly to support my bead buying habits, though many times it is painful to let them go.  I have beads enough that my friends and family tease me about the bead store in my basement.  C'est la vie!

One day I would like to expand and create my own lampwork, but until then (and no doubt still) I'm more then happy to buy other artists' work!

Other then my bead obsessions, I'm married to my wonderful husband of 15 years and have we two children.  Our 15 year old, brilliant son who is a challenge and a treasure every day no matter how much he frustrates me!  Then there's our 5 year old daughter who is precocious, clever and a joy to be around.  We live about 40 miles outside of the Twin Cities in Minnesota.  Both my husband and I work full time jobs, me at Qwest and my husband is a department head at a local chain of upscale grocers.
