Been a while again. The learning curve with the new camera has been longer then I thought. Every day pictures, action shots, family gatherings… they all come out beautifully, but I try to take a picture of glass or jewelry and they come out terribly. I guess I just need to keep fiddling until I find something that works. I think I need to figure out some sort of photo/light tent too. I that will help…. I’ve seen them for sale, but look to be buco bucks so I might try to come up with something homemade. Some bead artisans that I talk with online have created some of their own using inexpensive materials so I think I might try to go that route and see if the pictures improve.
Anyway… we spent the day at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival with the kids and I snapped the picture of Brigid with the faerie Twigg… I played a bit and gave it the fuzzy glow, but I thought it turned out so pretty I wanted to show it off! There are several others that came out really well, but one at a time… J Off to bed… it’s late, it’s been a long day and we’ve got a family birthday party tomorrow that involves swimming that I want to rest up for.
